Delete your data

What you can do yourself, right now

• Download your data first, if you want a copy: log in, open Account and security, and choose Download my data.
• Remove your WhatsApp number on the same page (Stop WhatsApp messages), or reply STOP to any WhatsApp message from us.
• Delete listings and photos from your Listings page. Photos are removed when you delete them.

Ask us to erase your account

Email grievance@rent-ease.in from the email address your account uses, with the subject “Delete my RentEase account”. We need to be sure the request comes from you, so we reply to that address before we act.

What happens

• Your login, name, email address, WhatsApp number and UPI ID are erased, and your listings and photos are removed.
• A tenancy record is shared between two people. The other person can keep their copy of that shared record, with your details limited to what the record needs, as described in the Privacy policy.
• Messages and receipts already sent to other people are theirs and are not recalled.
