After the tenant moves in
When someone says “I paid on the 5th”, there is nothing both people accept. The register fixes that: one record of dues, payments and receipts, the same for landlord and tenant.
For landlords
This month's rent, who is late and what falls due. Mark a payment received in two taps and a numbered receipt goes out.
For tenants
No app to install. They see what they owe and every receipt, pay on UPI straight to you, and flag anything that looks wrong.
Moving out
Deposit, less unpaid rent, less deductions with reasons. Both of you see the same statement. We never move the money.

How we protect both sides
Entries are never changed or deleted behind anyone’s back. A mistake is reversed with a reason both people can read.
A payment the landlord records, the tenant agrees with or reports. A payment the tenant says they made, the landlord confirms or declines.
A tenancy opens only for its landlord and for the tenant account that confirmed it.
In listings, email addresses stay hidden until both people choose to share. We never sell data or show ads.
Listings cannot carry phone numbers, links or lines like “pay a token before the visit”. Anyone can report a listing, and several reports hide it.

Yes. It is free for landlords, dealers and tenants. There is no card to enter and no percentage taken from rent. Tenants are never charged to see their own records.
Yes. Anyone can sign up from anywhere, including landlords and tenants who live abroad and look after a rental in India. The property must be in India, because rentease is built around Indian rentals: rent in rupees, UPI, financial years from April to March, and dates in Indian time. Reminders go to your email, or to WhatsApp if you add an Indian mobile number. rentease has two tools: free rental listings, and a shared rent register for landlord and tenant.
Owners, and dealers or agents, can post for free. Every listing says whether an owner or a dealer posted it, and you can filter the search by that. rentease charges no brokerage and takes no share of the rent. A dealer may charge their own fee, so ask before you visit.
No. Tenants pay landlords directly, by UPI, cash or bank transfer. rentease only keeps the record. When a tenant taps pay, their own UPI app opens with the landlord’s UPI ID and the amount filled in.
No. Charges and payments cannot be edited or deleted quietly. A mistake is corrected by a reversal that shows a reason, and both people see it in the same activity list. When a landlord records a payment the tenant can agree or report a problem, and when a tenant says they paid, the landlord confirms or declines.
Browse rentals or publish your vacancy in minutes. Keep rent, payments and receipts organized after move-in.
